Parent Organizations
There are many opportunities for parents to become involved on campus. Angel parents are active partners/participants in school life, as well as devoted and energetic supporters of the Academy’s philosophy. We look forward to your involvement as volunteers in the over 20 committees within the various parent organizations, but most importantly as your daughter’s cheerleader. Please consider lending your time, talents, and expertise in the coordination of events and fundraising efforts through work with AHA Parents’ Guild, Angels in the Arts or Parents’ Athletic Association. There are many opportunities to volunteer at Holy Angels. If you have not yet submitted your volunteer form, please do so below.
The Parents’ Guild
The members of the Parents’ Guild are ambassadors of this faith community for our daughters and current families, as well as the outside community.
The Parents’ Guild is a vital link at the Academy of the Holy Angels with responsibilities beyond fundraising. Each and every parent and guardian is a member of the Parents’ Guild. We host and chair events throughout the school year that build upon that strong sense of community and family. Our volunteers give their time and talents tirelessly from September until graduation day.
Parents’ Athletic Association
The PAA is a parent run organization which aids the AHA administration in identifying needs, funding, and improving athletics and the overall AHA community. Events include: Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner, Fall Sports Awards Dinner, Winter Sports Awards Dinner, and Spring Sports Awards Dinner.
PAA Projects & Annual Awards: Each year the funds generated, primarily by the Hall of Fame Dinner, are dedicated to a project either small or large to benefit AHA. Additionally, each year the PAA funds:
-
Prestigious Angel Award for $1500
-
Two Salvatore J. Zisa Memorial Scholarships for $1000
-
Sports Photographer & Senior Video
Angels in the Arts
Angels in the Arts is an association of parents who actively support the Arts Program at Holy Angels. They are involved in many aspects of the artistic community at the Academy promoting plays, concerts and art shows. A special scholarship recognizes a graduating senior’s outstanding contribution to the arts at Holy Angels. At the Arts Appreciation Dinner, all seniors involved in the arts take their final bows. AITA events include: Clothing Drive, Arts Appreciation Dinner & Showcase, and Cast and Crew parties.
