Erin found her passion and love of science while studying at Holy Angels. She gained an incredible head start for her studies at Boston College with AHA’s extensive STREAM curriculum both in and outside of the classroom. Erin participated in the Englewood Hospital Surgical Research Program and AHA’s Project Greenhouse. The AHA Greenhouse project is a school-wide effort that allowed students to build a solar-powered greenhouse, grow crops from seed, and donate the harvest to local food banks. Erin also served as the President of the National Honor Society, and was inducted into the Italian National Honor Society, and the National Science Honor Society. In addition to being an excellent student who successfully completed three college courses while still in high school, Erin shared her knowledge as a peer tutor and as a Catechist at Saint Elizabeth’s Church.
“The Academy of the Holy Angels has not only provided me an academic experience enriched by passionate teachers and challenging coursework, but Holy Angels has fostered within me a drive to be better than the person I was the day before in hopes of reaching my full potential.”
