Kelly immersed herself in multiple Advanced Placement classes at AHA, while always making time for athletics and multiple extracurricular and community activities. Her drive helped her earn the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award and the Sister Mary Nonna Dunphy Scholarship. In addition to keeping up with a rigorous academic schedule, Kelly served as National Science Honor Society President, Latin Honor Society President, and a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. She was captain of the AHA Cross Country Team and was named First Team All-League for her contributions to the Varsity Spring Track Team. Kelly took part in the Surgical Training Program at Englewood Hospital and the Perry Initiative Outreach program at the New York University Medical Center, and volunteered at Barnabas Health - Monmouth Medical Center. She begins her college career at Georgetown where she spent a summer enrolled in the Georgetown’s Medical Institute of Continuing Studies. Kelly’s stellar AHA career ended on a high note, as she was selected as the 2016 Senior Commencement Speaker.
