Middle School Scholars Make Dean’s List, Honor Roll
At the close of the first quarter of the 2023-24 academic year, the Academy of the Holy Angels Middle School recognized students who have earned excellent averages.
Dean’s List honorees, who must maintain an average of 95-100, include the following eighth graders: Chloe Burkards, Kiera Burke, Ava Cifelli, Charlotte Conover, Erin Dempsey, Sophia Garzon, Hannah George, Lizbeth George, Eftihia Giannikos, Hannah Kim, Kaci Li, Kaelyn Malig, Ella Menapace, Reina Mercado, Maria Petrou, Hailey Smith, Sparrow Smith, Vivianne Van Ost, and Chloe Zaladonis.
Seventh graders who achieved Dean’s List include Yasmin Almimeh, Anelle Avallone, Emma Castillo, Taylor Cho, Ava Cutri, Emma Dahl, Claire Kim, Joanna Lee, Soomin Myung, Lena Park, Ava Pereymybida, and Chloe Sohn.
Dean’s List honorees from the sixth grade are Jamie An, Emily Carlin, Olivia Cassella, Seoah Choi, Ruby Clark, Rhea Dhillon, Paris Hall, Ava Jung, Ahreum Kang, Emma Kottke, Tessa Martinko, Elizabeth McCann, Lily San Roman, Ellie Son, Amy Zalewski, and Mia Zalewski.
Middle school Angels who earned Honor Roll status include eighth graders Avery Chang, Ashley Choi, Cristyn Lindsay, Valentina Mendoza, Daphne Mura, Caroline Nam, Isabel Raymond, Suzanna Shayakhmetova, Jillian Sheridan, and Rebeccah Shippie; seventh graders Emma Cheng, Cara Choi, Alba Jackson, Brenna Kim, Victoire Lambert, Bogna Lehan, Marya Metaj, and Isabella Tomeo; and sixth graders Eden Lee and Madison Perkins.
Founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1879, the Academy of the Holy Angels is the oldest private girls’ school in Bergen County.
