What is Angelic Evening and why should I support it?
Angelic Evening is the largest and most important fundraiser at Holy Angels. The school depends on revenues generated every year at this event and every donation makes a difference. In years past the proceeds have funded many improvements to the school, including furnishings for the new Learning Commons, new student desks and enhancements to the school’s security systems. This year we are excited to announce that all proceeds raised by Angelic Evening will be directed towards purchasing the furnishings and equipment for Kelleher Hall.
How can I support Angelic Evening?
There are many ways you can show your support. Consider sponsoring a table, attending the event, purchasing a 50/50 raffle tickets or a journal ad, donating an item or making a cash donation. All of these options are available online by clicking here.
Who attends Angelic Evening?
In addition to meeting current and past parents of AHA students, you will have an opportunity to mingle with AHA administration, faculty and staff, members of the Board of Trustees, many of our beloved School Sisters of Notre Dame, and AHA alumnae who faithfully return to show their support of AHA.
I’m a new parent at AHA and really don’t know anyone yet. Should I still come to the Angelic Evening?
Absolutely yes!! If you like, we can seat you with parents of your daughter’s class or neighbors from your town. Just let us know when you register.
What to wear?
Angelic Evening is not a formal affair, but smart business or cocktail attire is suggested.
Can I sit with my friends?
Yes! Simply indicate your seating preferences when you register online or on your reply card. We regret that this may not be possible for last minute registrants but we will make every effort to accommodate you.
What kinds of items will be auctioned off?
There will be approximately 100 Silent Auction Baskets available for auction and an exciting array of Live Auction items as well. The items will be described in the Angelic Evening Commemorative Journal that will be uploaded online at the AHA website the week before the event.
How will I bid on items?
Bring your cell phone and place bids electronically with our user friendly “Text to Bid” program. You’ll be kept apprised of the items you are bidding on without having to check bidder sheets constantly. Everything is done via texts delivered to your phone. If you don’t have a cell phone we’ll have Angel Ambassadors on hand to process your bids for you.
What types of payment are available to me as a guest of Jubilee Gala?
We strongly suggest that you “Q Check” in advance by checking that box when you register online or so indicating on your reply card. This will expedite your check-in for the evening and make check-out more efficient as well. Any items purchased at the event will be charged to the credit card provided.
Is there music and dancing?
Yes, we will have a live music during the entire evening for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
