Pamela Ruschak started her second career when she joined the AHA faculty as a math teacher in 2008. She earned her teaching certification while her children were small. Prior to taking some time off to raise her two sons, she worked in the music and television industries as a sound editor and mixer. She draws on that experience to teach a class in digital media. She enjoys spending time with her family watching movies and attending shows and concerts. Her hobbies also include crafting, playing the piano, and gardening.
