Cross Country County Champs

For the first time since 2018, the Academy of the Holy Angels Cross Country Team has been crowned Bergen County Champions! In an impressive team effort, the Angels secured a commanding 22–33 victory over IHA, marking a major milestone for the program.

Freshman Emma Kottke delivered a standout performance, capturing the varsity individual championship with a winning time of 19:31. Emma is the first Holy Angels runner to claim the individual county title since 2018. The victory also earned the Angels a spot in the Bergen County Meet of Champions for the first time since 2019, where they will compete against the county’s top teams.

The success extended throughout the program, with JV and freshman runners achieving impressive personal records. Congratulations to our talented student-athletes and coaches on this outstanding accomplishment! We look forward to cheering on the Angels as they continue their remarkable season!
