Social Work
The goal of the Social Worker is to assist the Holy Angels community in maintaining the highest level of mental and emotional health possible. The Social Worker offers short-term therapy, grief counseling, crisis counseling, substance use counseling, and stress management when desired. An active list of referral sources are available. This includes therapists, psychiatrists, and programs specific to the needs of adolescents. Students can stop in the Social Work Office at any time or schedule ahead here.
Student Support
At the Academy of the Holy Angels, we are committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs through academic accommodations, provided through either an AHA 504 Plan for Learning or a Service Plan through Bergen County Special Services. These accommodations ensure that all students have the opportunity to excel and reach their fullest potential.
