Chief Advancement Officer
The Academy of the Holy Angels, a Catholic college preparatory school in Demarest, Bergen County, NJ, serving young women in grades 6-12 is seeking a visionary and collaborative Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). The CAO will lead the strategic planning and execution of fundraising and alumnae relations for capital campaigns and the development of a major gifts program. In this senior role, the CAO will manages major gifts and donor stewardship, along with annual and capital campaigns. The CAO reports directly to the Academy’s president and works closely with the school’s Board of Trustees. Key responsibilities include development and management of a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy to meet revenue goals; develop philanthropic priorities that align with the school’s mission and strategic plan; steward major donors including alumnae outreach and marketing and communication initiatives to support fundraising efforts. Will also oversee database management to allow for data-driven decision making and planning.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years experience in non-profit fundraising ideally within educational, non-profit or independent school setting along with a proven track record in closing major gifts, strategic planning and managing high performance teams. Bachelor’s degree required, with an advanced degree and CRFE (Certified Fundraising Executive) certification preferred.

Science Teacher High School & Middle School

Testing Coordinator
The Academy of the Holy Angels seeks a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented professional to serve as the Testing Coordinator within the Center for Educational Achievement (CEA). This individual will oversee the coordination and administration of extended-time and accommodation-based testing for students in grades 6–12, ensuring that approved accommodations are implemented consistently, efficiently, and confidentially. The Testing Coordinator will also serve as the school’s PSAT Testing Coordinator, managing all aspects of PSAT administration in accordance with College Board requirements and school procedures. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple schedules and responsibilities simultaneously, and strong communication and collaboration with students, faculty, counselors, administrators, and families. Experience working with students with learning differences and/or a background in special education is strongly preferred.
Essential Responsibilities:
Academic Accommodation & Extended-Time Testing Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee all extended-time and accommodation-based testing for students in grades 6–12.
- Develop and manage testing schedules and proctoring logistics for daily assessments, quizzes and tests/exams.
- Communicate proactively and consistently with faculty regarding testing schedules.
- Collaborate closely with counselors, administrators, teachers, and support staff to ensure effective implementation of accommodations.
- Monitor testing environments to ensure students receive accommodations appropriately and consistently while maintaining academic integrity.
- Assist in maintaining organized systems and procedures related to testing operations.
- Support students in navigating testing procedures while fostering student accountability and self-advocacy.
PSAT Coordination
- Serve as the school’s PSAT Testing Coordinator for the Fall and Spring administrations
- Manage all logistics related to PSAT administration, including registration processes, ordering materials, room assignments, staffing, and test-day procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all College Board testing regulations and security requirements.
- Coordinate with school leadership, counselors, faculty, and families regarding PSAT-related communications and scheduling.
Collaboration & Communication
- Foster positive working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and families.
- Participate in meetings related to student support, accommodations, and academic achievement as needed.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and compassionately with all members of the school community.
- Contribute to a student-centered environment that values equity, access, organization, and academic support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in education, academic support services, special education, school counseling, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of academic accommodations, learning differences, and student support practices strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Part-Time Librarian
Position Summary:
The Part-Time Librarian, in collaboration with the head librarian, is responsible for managing and maintaining the school library as a vibrant center for learning, research, and reading. This role supports students and faculty by providing access to resources, fostering information literacy, and encouraging a culture of inquiry aligned with the school’s Catholic mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily library operations and organization of materials
- Curate, catalog, and maintain the collection of books and digital resources
- Assist students in developing research skills, especially in effectively using databases, information literacy skills, and a love of reading
- Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum needs, integrate library resources into classroom instruction, and deliver research classes
- Provide guidance on ethical research practices, including proper citation and source evaluation print and online (including databases and AI) resources
- Assist in maintaining the library web site and online catalog
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and inclusive library environment, while managing students in a firm, positive, and inviting manner
- Respond to the changing academic, instructional, technological, and information needs of the Holy Angels community
