The Academy of the Holy Angels is seeking a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher to join our middle and high school faculty. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in Chemistry, though applicants with expertise in Biology, Physics, or General Science are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state and school standards

Teach courses across middle and/or high school levels

Develop and implement hands-on labs and experiments that promote inquiry-based learning

Assess student progress and provide timely feedback

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment in accordance with safety regulations

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education (Master’s preferred)

Valid teaching certification/licensure
-
Experience teaching middle and/or high school students

Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Experience with Advanced Placement (AP) or Honors-level courses (preferred)
- Familiarity with modern instructional technologies and lab equipment
