Academy of the Holy Angels Welcomes Megan Knight as Chief Advancement Officer

Prior to joining AHA, Megan served for eight years as Director of Development & Alumnae Relations at the Academy of Saint Elizabeth, where she led a transformational expansion of the school’s fundraising program, increasing annual revenue tenfold. Through strategic philanthropy, transformational giving, and strengthened alumnae engagement, she helped cultivate a culture of generosity and lasting institutional support.
Megan began her career in senior development roles within the healthcare sector, including positions at VNA Health Group and RWJBarnabas Health, where she led fundraising and donor engagement initiatives and helped spearhead clinical educational programming throughout New Jersey. She is also a respected voice in the advancement profession, having served on planning committees and presented at conferences for organizations including CASE/NAIS and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. Most recently, she delivered a keynote presentation for the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools Commission for School Advancement and served as an expert panelist for Double the Donation. She is also a guest speaker for the Annual Giving Network.
As Chief Advancement Officer, Megan will lead our Advancement Office efforts in building meaningful relationships and fostering a shared commitment to philanthropy across every constituency of the Holy Angels community. From current parents and alumnae parents to grandparents, faculty and staff, the Board of Trustees, and our alumnae, each member of our community plays an important role in shaping the future of the Academy. Together, we have an opportunity to ensure that the Holy Angels experience continues to inspire, empower, and prepare generations of young women for lives of purpose and possibility.
Philanthropy is more than financial support; it is an expression of our shared belief in the mission of Holy Angels and our commitment to the young women who will carry that mission forward. As we look toward our 150th anniversary and the exciting possibilities ahead, Megan’s leadership will help us build on our rich legacy while investing in the future of our school.
Please join us in welcoming Megan to the Holy Angels family. We look forward to the many ways we will work together to strengthen our community, deepen our culture of philanthropy, and ensure that the legacy of the Academy of the Holy Angels continues to thrive for generations to come.
