Angels Accepted to Top Colleges

Students from the Academy of the Holy Angels Class of 2024 recently earned acceptance to some of the nation’s most highly-regarded colleges and universities. As of January, the list included Baylor, Bucknell, Colgate, Drexel, Harvard, Loyola, and many other fine institutions of higher education.

“We are proud to share that our Angels have earned $4 million in scholarship awards to date,” said Rachel Jackiewicz, director of the AHA Office of Academic and College Counseling. “Helping our students reach their fullest potential is our ultimate goal through a comprehensive college counseling curriculum. We couldn’t be prouder of their amazing accomplishments, which are reflected in their incredible college acceptances. Please stay tuned for future updates on acceptances, attending colleges, and scholarship awards.”

Founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1879, the Academy of the Holy Angels is the oldest private girls’ school in Bergen County. While AHA is steeped in Catholic tradition, this prestigious school serves young women from many cultural and religious backgrounds. AHA’s current leaders continue to further the SSND mission to provide each student with the tools she needs to reach the fullness of her potential—spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically, by offering a first-rate education in a nurturing environment where equal importance is placed on academic excellence, character development, moral integrity, and service to others.
