Middle School Basketball

Middle school girls’ basketball is coached by Megan Delasandro and participates in the CYO Athletic League run by the Diocese of Newark. The team plays approximately 10 games against other participating Catholic schools and parishes. It’s not necessary to have played basketball previously to participate! Part of the process is teaching the skills to all levels of athletes. 

Practices focus on core fundamentals like dribbling and shooting. Players also learn strong defense and how to work as a team. The program builds confidence and encourages good sportsmanship, helping students flourish on and off the court as they proudly represent Holy Angels during the season.
