Back to School at Academy of the Holy Angels: Kick-Starting the 145th Year of Excellence

As summer fades and the excitement of a new school year begins, the Academy of the Holy Angels is buzzing with energy and anticipation as we welcome our Angels back to our halls.
Our senior class kicked off the year in style, meeting up for their last first-day-of-school celebration in the back parking lot with their cars decorated and their fun backpacks on display.
Each proudly sporting their senior sweaters, a time-honored tradition of AHA. Their enthusiasm is contagious, setting the tone for the year ahead.

Sophomores and juniors have eagerly moved up to their new roles, while our freshmen took their first steps into the high school experience. Students were excited to see the breezeway and
lockers received a fresh coat of blue paint over the summer, adding a crisp, new look that proudly reflects our school colors and spirit. Our excited middle school students were greeted by
AHA President Melinda Hanlon and are ready to embark on a new year of growth and learning. During Community time, the entire school community gathered for a special school-wide Mass,
a beautiful way to reflect on the year ahead and ask for blessings as we embark on new journeys together.

We are thrilled to welcome new faculty and staff this year- all who join us ready to share their talents and expertise with our students. Michael Yun, our new Director of Orchestra and Music
Ministry, has already begun meeting with students to gauge interest in this year’s orchestra. Charles George, our enthusiastic new Latin teacher has jumped right into the new school year
with a full schedule of interested students. Brianne Lynn, our Director of Marketing and Communications, brings a fresh and innovative approach to our marketing efforts. Our cherished
chef, Russell Ash, has returned, ready to delight students and staff with all their favorite meals.

Fall sports teams are already back in action, preparing to compete, while clubs and activities are ramping up, offering countless opportunities for students to get involved.
It’s clear that this year at Academy of the Holy Angels is set to be one full of excitement, camaraderie, and achievement. Welcome back, Angels!
