Two Holy Angels Students Selected for Prestigious NJ All-State Orchestra

The Academy of the Holy Angels proudly congratulates students Kailey Seok ’29 and Evelyn Chiou ’29 on their selection to perform in the 2026 New Jersey All-State Intermediate Orchestra, sponsored by the New Jersey Music Educators Association.

The prestigious concert was held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Chatham High School and featured talented young musicians from across the state under the direction of conductor Michael Avagliano. Kailey Seok performed as a First Violinist, while Evelyn Chiou performed as a Second Violinist. Holy Angels was also represented by Orchestra Director Grace Woo, who served as an audition adjudicator for the All-State program and attended the concert in support of her students.

Selection to the All-State Intermediate Orchestra is a tremendous honor and reflects the students’ dedication, musical talent, and commitment to excellence. Holy Angels is proud to celebrate Kailey, Evelyn, and Ms. Woo for representing the Academy so beautifully on the statewide stage.
