Welcome Home Liz Garcia ’17

We are thrilled to welcome Liz Garcia ’17 to the Academy of the Holy Angels Admissions Team as our new Admissions Associate! 

A proud Angel alumna, Liz’s journey is a testament to resilience, leadership, and the power of coming full circle. During her time at Holy Angels, she excelled as a four-year varsity athlete in track & field and basketball, earning numerous honors and recognition at the county, state, group, and national levels. She continued her academic and athletic career at the University of Hartford on a full Division I basketball scholarship.

Following her collegiate experience, Liz built a successful career in management, leading teams and supporting growing businesses across the beauty, health & wellness, and real estate industries throughout New York City. Through those experiences, she discovered a passion for mentoring others, developing talent, and helping people reach their full potential.

Many in our community already know Liz as a dedicated member of our coaching staff, currently in her third season coaching track & field and strength & conditioning. This spring, she was also inducted into the AHA Athletic Hall of Fame, in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments as a student-athlete and her lasting impact on our community.

Returning to Holy Angels has been a full-circle experience for Liz, and we are excited to see her bring her leadership, coaching experience, and passion for mentorship to the Admissions Office as she helps future Angels begin their own journey.
