AHA Debuts Student-Built Seed Library

Holy Angels welcomed a new addition to our campus thanks to junior Eva Santelli, a dedicated member of the Green Action Team. With help from her family, Eva installed a beautifully crafted Little Seed Library by the corner of AHA’s garden, right next to the greenhouse.

A passion project rooted in sustainability and community spirit, the Seed Library invites students and staff to “take some, leave some.” Much like AHA’s Little Free Library, this wooden structure, designed to look like a mailbox, holds a drawer filled with flower seed packets, free for the taking. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, you’re welcome to grab a packet and bring some color to your own yard or windowsill.

Those with extra seeds from their own gardens are encouraged to leave them in labeled packets for others to enjoy. The greenhouse will also contribute extra seeds from their plants, helping to keep the Seed Library stocked and thriving.

Even if you don’t plan to plant, make sure to stop by and admire the Seed Library’s thoughtful design and craftsmanship. It’s a small structure with a big message: growth, generosity, and green living. Thanks for your contributions to the AHA community, Eva!
