Carmín Torres-Fontánez has been a member of the AHA community since September 2021. Her previous experience includes teaching in an all-girls Catholic school in Puerto Rico. She is passionate about teaching Spanish, which is her native language. Another of her great passions is theater. She enjoys acting, attending plays, going to the movies, reading, exercising, and cooking. Traveling to a different destination every year is one way she expands her knowledge. She likes to experience different cultures, languages, and foods from different countries. She also enjoys reading history books, plays, poetry, and historical novels.
