Lisa Betti enjoys a life-long passion for languages and has taught English as a Second Language in Italy, and Italian and Spanish in the United States. An advocate of international education, she was an international student counselor at the University of Southern California and later at Pace University. She also translates technical and literary work in English and Italian. This educator is happy to be back in the classroom, where she encourages her students to become global citizens and explore places and cultures with curiosity and open minds. She loves spending time with family and friends around the world, sampling new recipes, doing puzzles of any kind, and dogs.
