Nadeem Akhter

Nadeem Akhter brings 28 years of specialized experience to our cloud computing networking infrastructure, bridging the gap between traditional hardware and modern, cloud-based ecosystems. A graduate of Vaughn College of Aeronautics with a Bachelor of Technology (B.S.), Nadeem has dedicated nearly three decades to evolving IT infrastructure from “old school” systems to today’s cutting-edge cloud solutions.

 

A seasoned expert in school-wide LAN/WAN and server infrastructure, Nadeem has spearheaded the redesign of modern data centers while expertly navigating the complexities of E-rate and public funding. His leadership is particularly vital in campus safety and security, where he specializes in integrating AI-driven analytic security cameras with Avigilon access control, unified safety alert systems, and robust Veeam data backup solutions into a single, cloud-based platform.

 

Nadeem’s commitment to innovation and design is showcased in his hands-on approach to our campus environment, including his work designing technology office hallways that feature student-engaging activities. Whether resolving a complex server issue or helping a colleague with a non-IT challenge, his door is always open to new ideas that make our Academy a better place to learn.

 

In his free time, Nadeem enjoys experimenting with generative AI and exploring advancements in home improvement, always eager to apply his love for learning
