Rita Goff

M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Personnel Services, Fordham University

 

Rita Goff began her career at Academy of the Holy Angels as an Interim College Counselor in 2009 after earning her Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University.  She went on to serve as a College Counselor at St. Mary High School before returning to AHA as a full-time College Counselor in 2012.  For more than a decade, she worked closely with high school Angels, helping them reach their fullest potential, enhance their learning experiences, and confidently navigate the college admission process.

 

In 2025, Rita began her role as Director of Middle School Academics and Counseling, where she supports the academic growth, personal development, and well-being of AHA’s Middle School Angels.  She works closely with faculty, students, and families to support curriculum and instruction, foster student success, and ensure that each student is appropriately challenged and equipped with the skills to thrive.  She is passionate about helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, develop independence, and nurture the curiosity and skills that will serve them throughout high school and beyond.  Rita strives to ensure that every student feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach her full potential during these formative years.

 

Outside of school, Rita enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their children, Nick and Emilia.  She also loves spending time at the beach, attending concerts and comedy shows, visiting museums, traveling, and discovering great food.
