9th Grade Applicants
Limited spots remain for the Class of 2026. Completed applications will continue to be reviewed on a first come-first served basis until all spots are filled. The SSAT will be administered on select dates at AHA this spring. Please email the Admissions Office at admissions@holyangels.org for dates and details.
1. Complete the AHA Online Admissions Application
To submit an application, a parent/guardian will log into the Applicant Portal and complete the online application under the Admissions Progress tab. Once the application is processed, a checklist will populate with all remaining steps. Please allow 2 business days for the application to be processed. Log in to your account often to view the checklist due dates and check on the status of your application.
2. Upload Transcripts
Upload 1st quarter or 1st trimester 8th grade report card and final report cards from grades 6 and 7. Please only upload grades once 1st quarter/trimester report cards for the current school year are available.
3. Register for the Entrance Exam – Upper Level SSAT
The SSAT is an admissions test used by independent schools worldwide. Each year our Admissions Committee reviews applicant score reports along with transcripts and other standardized test scores to determine academic readiness for AHA’s curriculum as well as initial placements, if accepted.
There are several ways to take the SSAT:
-
Paper-Based test at AHA. Applicants only; registration required. Please call the admissions office for available dates.
-
Computer-Based SSAT at Home
-
Computer-Based Testing at a Prometric Testing Center
-
Paper-Based testing administered at approved testing centers or by educational consultants
*NOTE* It is not recommended that students take the SSAT more than one time. AHA only accepts ONE score report and does not super score (take the highest scores from multiple tests). Only one score report may be uploaded to the Applicant Portal.
Students with disabilities who require testing accommodations must apply through the SSAT website. Approved accommodations are for the SSAT only and may differ from academic accommodations available to students at Academy of the Holy Angels.
International students whose native language is not English are required to submit English language proficiency test scores from the TOEFL exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language). These scores are in addition to the requirements outlined above.
